We recently made an airline reservation through Travelocity for a flight with Frontier Airlines, and the whole thing became a horrible disaster. Travelocity support was horrible, atrocious ... I can't think of enough bad words to describe this experience. If you are ever looking for a review of the service provided by Travelocity, you've found the right place. They are worthless.
The summary of the story is that either we made a mistake, or Travelocity made a mistake, or perhaps Frontier Airlines did, but we are now the proud owners of two worthless $300 tickets from Denver, Colorado to San Jose, California. And of course on all possible days this flight is on September 11 ("911").
We made a reservation online for an 8:40 a.m. flight, and when we received the confirmation it was for a much later flight. When we saw that the time of the flight was wrong and would not get us to San Jose until 11pm, we immediately called Travelocity. However, to make a long story short, the Travelocity support/help (read "no help") people said that "they would rather lose our future business than exchange this flight or give us our money back". They further said that Frontier Airlines would simply refer our calls back to Travelocity, and we would get nowhere with them. No support, no offer of help, nothing, nada, zilch.
At the end of the phone call the lack-of-support person says "Is there anything else I can help you with today?", to which my reply was "You haven't helped me with anything yet, so why start now."
Use any other service, but for God's sake don't ever use Travelocity or Frontier Airlines.
