If you're thinking about moving to Kentucky, and you're being wooed by the Fletcher administration, just know that after you move here they might leave offensive messages on your answering machine.
I got one from the Fletcher campaign yesterday, and in it a man with a heavy southern accent speaks out angrily against Fletcher's opponent for Governor, labeling him as "ultra liberal", states how he "supports gays", and how he'll "turn Kentucky into the next San Francisco". I'd be amazed to hear this language on a television or radio commercial, but somehow they think it's okay to leave this message on my answering machine.
Regardless of my religious, political, or personal beliefs, one thing I do know is that this sort of radical, divisive, fear-mongering talk is exactly what's wrong with American politics today, and I won't be voting for Mr. Fletcher. Oh, and to the rest of America: not everyone in Kentucky thinks this way.
