Due to size concerns, C (an extension to C) is distributed
separately on CPAN, under the name L. That module
also contains extra Taiwan-based encodings.

=head1 BUGS

When you see C on mails and web pages, they really
mean C encodings.  To fix that, C is aliased to C.
Use C when you really mean it.

The ASCII region (0x00-0x7f) is preserved for all encodings, even though
this conflicts with mappings by the Unicode Consortium.  See
